Steve Carroll
was an original member of The Meat and Potatoes Company in New York, where he appeared in a wide variety of productions ranging from the plays of William Shakespeare and Jean Cocteau to William Inge and Jean Genet. Since 1977 he has worked extensively in theatre, commercials, films and television. You may have spotted him as Dr. Matt Rawlins on ABC's One Life To Live.

Steve recently flew to China, where he portrayed a leading role in a 30 part series for Chinese television called A War of China's Fate. It examined China's post-World War II civil war and aired as part of the 50th anniversary celebration of The People's Republic, winning many prestigious awards.

A member of New Jersey Repertory Company since its inception, Mr. Carroll has appeared in nearly a dozen staged readings and two mainstage productions, A World I Never Made and North Fork. On NJ Rep's second stage he produced and performed his one-man show Charles Lindbergh: The Lone Eagle, directed by company member Billy Stone. It earned the endorsement of The Charles A. and Anne Morrow Lindbergh Foundation, and Mr. Carroll has since performed the show for professional theatres, historical societies, senior centers, colleges, high schools, aviation groups and museums around the country.
