in New York, where he appeared in a wide variety of productions ranging
from the plays of William Shakespeare and Jean Cocteau to William Inge
and Jean Genet. Since 1977 he has worked extensively in theatre, commercials,
films and television. You may have spotted him as Dr. Matt Rawlins on
ABC's One Life To Live.
Steve recently
flew to China, where he portrayed a leading role in a 30 part series
for Chinese television called A War of China's Fate. It examined
China's post-World War II civil war and aired as part of the 50th anniversary
celebration of The People's Republic, winning many prestigious awards.
A member of New

and Mr. Carroll has since performed the show for professional theatres,
historical societies, senior centers, colleges, high schools, aviation
groups and museums around the country.
